Estos conventos están protegidos por la Unesco, como parte de la declaratoria “Monasterios del Siglo XVI en las Faldas del Popocatépetl”
 Driving on small roads, we reach the remote town of Ocuituco, Morelos, on the slopes of Popocatépetl, where one of the oldest missions of the Augustinian order was founded, the convent of Santiago Apostle which is dated in 1534. These convents are protected by Unesco, as part of the declaration “Monasteries of the 16th Century in the Skirts of Popocatepetl”
