★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The barista was obviously not happy to serve someone who didn’t speak Spanish fluently when he commented rudely : don’t you speak Spanish? “. He made no effort to slow down even when I explained, in my broken Spanish , that I didn’t understand his question because he spoke very fast. Yes I am a tourist and tried to speak your language the best I could. This experience reaffirmed that when tourists are treated poorly just to remind them that they are “tolerated”and inconveniences spending money.
