This place is very sketchy. I almost fell for the trap. Building was a Abandoned and didn't a a sign on the front, teenagers as staff. Manny tried to get my money upfront and could tell he was bothered when i said no id pay it the day of implants. Got back to the hotel and started reading the hundreds of bad reviews and immediately booked my trip home. I understand everyone has bad reviews but the bad reviews was not worth taking chance.

MALPRACTICE AND FRAUD!!!!! Manny and Dr. CooK are being investigated for malpractice and fraud. They have lost their license to practice dentistry in the past and only got it back by bribing officials. They are currently under investigation and they will be losing their license again. This is at both of their locations, Cancun and Progreso. Beware. This is all a matter of public record. They will deny it verbally, lie right to your face, however it is easy to check. DONT BE FOOLED.

If you go to Stetic Dental do not see Dr. Cook! He does sloppy work (you can't be sloppy when doing implants!). In fact, I'd avoid Stetic completely because the owner, Manny Huerta Payan, is dishonest. He's also been arrested (that I'm researching). I went to Stetic for implants. The left side implants started to come loose a few days after Dr. Cook installed them. I emailed Manny about this, he replied that he would have Dr. Cook look at my x-rays. I didn't hear back from him. I then asked for the x-rays so I could have a US doctor look at them, didn't hear back. Finally after texting Manny I received the x-ray. However, I'd already seen a US dentist who did his own x-rays that found insufficient bone (even though Dr. Cook did bone grafts) to hold the implants in place and the implant posts were intruding into my sinuses causing constant nasal congestion! Manny said Dr. Cook would be willing to repair the shoddy work, but I don't trust him! He twice dropped implant posts into my mouth, one that I almost swallowed, and jabbed me on the side of my mouth with a hypodermic needle! I've had to have the implants removed costing over $4000 and new implants could run $15k! I've asked Manny for a refund of the almost $7000 I paid Stetic, but have been ignored. I'm looking into legal options and filing a complaint in Mexico.

I've had several teeth worked on by Dr Cook including several extractions and he always did a very good job. Numbed the tooth well and went to work. No problems and no complications afterwards. Planning on going back in the next week or two.
