★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tres meses antes de vencer la garantía de partes, camino a Querétaro se encendió el testigo de la caja de velocidades y llevé mi camioneta Forrester al taller Subaru en esa ciudad. Me indicaron que la caja requería cambio de aceite y reconfiguraron la computadora. Pocos días después se inició la pandemia y no volví a sacar la camioneta a carretera. Cuando la saqué, de nuevo se encendieron los testigos (En ciudad no se encienden porque no da tiempo a que se caliente la caja) y la llevé al taller de la CDMX. Me indicaron que había que cambiar la caja porque tenía rebabas el aceite y se debía a que los empaques del difusor de calor de la caja habían dejado pasar líquido anticongelante. Pero que había vencido la garantía (después del evento en Querétaro) y la caja nueva costaba 432 mil pesos. El taller de Querétaro sabía que la garantía vencía en tres meses, porque tuvo la libreta con los servicios y la fecha de compra de la camioneta y se callaron. Tengo demandado el taller ante PROFECO, no se que resulte, pero te aconsejo: NO COMPRES SUBARU. Además no sube el cristal del chofer y repararlo cuesta una fortuna. Una vez que se vence la garantía, las partes las cobran cinco veces más caras que en el mercado y a los cinco años de uso el coche se empieza de deshacer.
 Three months before the parts warranty expired, on the way to Querétaro the gearbox warning light came on and I took my Forrester truck to the Subaru workshop in that city. They told me that the box required an oil change and they reconfigured the computer. A few days later the pandemic started and I never took the truck out on the road again. When I took it out, the warning lights came on again (in the city they don't come on because there isn't enough time for the box to heat up) and I took it to the CDMX workshop. They told me that the box had to be changed because the oil had burrs and it was due to the fact that the gaskets of the heat diffuser of the box had let antifreeze liquid pass through. But that the guarantee had expired (after the event in Querétaro) and the new box cost 432 thousand pesos. The Querétaro workshop knew that the guarantee would expire in three months, because they had the booklet with the services and the date of purchase of the truck and they kept quiet. I have sued the workshop before PROFECO, I don't know what will turn out, but I advise you: DO NOT BUY SUBARU. In addition, the driver's glass does not go up and it costs a fortune to repair it. Once the warranty expires, the parts charge five times more expensive than in the market and after five years of use the car begins to fall apart.
