★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say, of all of my international travels and all the hostals i've stayed, this is one of my favorites! It is clean, secure, comfortable beds, clean towels and linen, excellent location to walk to all the sights! The traditional breakfast prepared everyday is delicious! Allejandro and all the staff were so kind and welcoming and helped with any questions I had. Even when I became ill he made sure I had a room secured for a few days, tea, water and even offered to help with anything I needed like doctors or medicine! Staying here is like staying with family. I highly recommend staying here and would again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice mellow spot. Owner is friendly and the place to well laided out. The beds have curtains and the seating encourages conversation with out guests. All beds have there own outlet as well for charging stuff and they loan you a lock if you want.

A true hidden gem smack in the middle of the city!
I've never been in a Hostle before so I had my concerns. Fransico and the rest of the staff eliminated all my fears and made me feel like family! The mattresses are top noch, best sleep in years. I highly recommend this inviting gem of a place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to stay during your visit to San Luis Potosi!! Really comfortable beds - with curtains for extra privacy ;) Kitchen really well stocked so you can cook anything. Incredible rooftop to have some beers and meet other travelers. Amazing and friendly staff who want to help with anything they can and make you feel very comfortable! And in a great location - 5 minutes walk to the central plaza!! Best value for money :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A solid hostel on a quiet street in an underrated city. It's a colonial-era building with vintage furnishings, but everything works -- good kitchen, showers, beds, large dining table where people work or socialize, and the dorm was so warm during the middle of winter I didn't need a blanket until 5AM. SLP itself is quite charming, with some of the most beautiful plazas I've seen in Mexico. The pillows need replacing, but I wrapped mine in a towel and all was good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot, rooftop terrace, comparable pricing to the rest of the city hostels, and friendly staff, but the cookware was horrible and scare. Old worn aluminium non stick with 80% of coating gone. Cheap stainless steel pots and pans should be the standard in hostels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool place. Friendly service, gorgeous building, surprisingly comfortable mattresses for a hostel, and, because it’s a building made from thick stone, it stays reasonable cool even on a hot day. 420 friendly rooftop terrace with cheap beers, too. Definitely recommended!!
