★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best market in the region, plenty of local wares, vastly less harassment than other flea market style venues in the region and delicious delicious food. Will gladly come back when visiting the region in the future. Try the coconut water stalls and the local public style food places for some amazing snacks.
Edit: If you are used to California style flea markets this will seem a mostly normal market.

Try Doña Guty restaurant for simple authentic food. 60 peso lunch for two. Coffee, Jamaica, two tacos. Yum

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's less touristy and more local market, which is a nice change from the touristy places. You can get fresh veggies and fruit, ice, and wonderful fresh juices and beverages there. We found a few gifts there. There is a lot of walking on dirt and dusty roads and some of the vendors have shade sails over their areas. Just be prepared for that experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This market will take all day to fully complete. Most of the items for sale were household goods and clothing. Definitely for the local peoples, still a fine adventure into daily life in the area. Plenty of fresh food, produce, meats, beverages and baked goods also to be had. Walk out of the tents and discover a whole world of street food vendors. It was difficult to decide. The Bucerias chicken is a must. For a busy, bustling beach day, Sunday is it! *Track your steps.. you’ll be surprised how giant this market is
