★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our #1 place for everyday-type breakfast, hands down. We stray from time to time but this is the place we automatically think of for breakfast. If you are craving a good old Mexican combo plate (chili relleno, enchilada, quesadilla, beans and rice), they have a good one for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful restaurant in a small quaint town. The service is excellent. The food is very traditional of the area. We went for breakfast and they offer eggs, chilaquiles, etc. The menu is listed in both Spanish and English.

Sunrise is one of those roadside restaurants you can rely on to provide a decent meal at a good price, with efficient service and in a resonably comfortable setting.
I'll be coming back here now and again when I'm passing and in need of Huevos Rancheros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack and Sunrise Restaurant did not disappoint. The hamburger was delicious and the fish filet Vera Cruz was fabulous. The tables were comfortably situated and the whole restaurant was sparkling clean! They take great pride in their business and it shows. I will eat there again and again.
