Our vacation was a total nightmare. Sure, the shows are fantastic but the food made us sick and just ruined the total vacation. We couldn't even enjoy it and even had to call a doctor for medicine because we were so Ill. We told the management about it and they didn't even do anything to help us. Also, we told the Funjet rep and they did nothing. Please, don't go to this resort.

I do NOT recommend unless you have kids. You’re not aloud music at the pool after 6pm and then before that they hassle you to turn it down so you can listen to there horrible music instead. I’m 26 no kids. Do not recommend if this sounds like you

Family recently stayed a week and it was one of our worst experiences at an all inclusive resort. There are several reasons - Check in process was long and non informative. Our room wasn't ready nor was there anywhere except a small rest room available to change. At the buffet, the selection was limited, the lines were long. At breakfast, men were required to wear short sleeve shirts while women were allowed to dine with bathing suits and cover-ups- Masks were still required to enter, even though you sat outside. The a la Carte restaurant had the same menu all week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and was closed the majority of the time. We found out at the door of the Italian Restaurant, that it was Adult Only place, and kids 12 and over could eat there. Not sure where I read that a 12 year old is considered an adult, or why an Italian restaurant would be Adult Only. The Snack shop at the pool had long lines and poor tasting food. The food was mediocre- across the 3 that we were actually to dine in. I was ill with food poisoning for 3 days. The family enjoyed the restaurants across the street better than the food at the hotel. The drinks at the bar were weak. The shows were lack luster and the movies were in Spanish with English subtitles. Our Covid tests were $40/person which we thought was expensive compared to those staying in other resorts on the strip that we spoke too. There was no clock in the room and the phone didn't work most of the time. The 1 star is for the cleanliness of the hotel & room and swimmable beach with canopies to lay under.

Everything was good and reasonable except the food. We struggled with the lack of fresh fruits and vegetables and the items being served seemed to be the same ones constantly reheated. We went to the store in town to purchase fresh fruits we were craving. The service and employees were for the most part pleasant, Christopher and Sandra at the Cafe were our favourites as their friendliness came genuine. The one hiccup with service was upon checking out, we were asked to fill out a survey and the employee from the entertainment group taking the survey stood next to me making comments about my feedback which left me leaving the resort frustrated and annoyed - please don't ask for feedback through an online survey if the intention is to criticize me as I fill it out.

Absolute Top 10 Family Vacation Destination!!! Everyone who works at this resort is incredibly kind and invested in making sure your stay is the best ever!!! Jorge the head of concierge greeting us on arrival along with Ryan our bellman and set us off to a great start on our trip in August of 2021. From Ricardo the pool bar tender, Luis the pool waiter, America our housekeeper to Vinnie (the one name I might be misremembering) the most attentive buffet restaurant waiter ever, our stay was just wonderful. The slides and kids splash zone were a huge hit for out 8 year old who never got out of the pool. We loved watching the nightly entertainment from our double balcony family adjoining rooms. Speaking of the rooms, they were well equipped with anything needed, outlets, linens, storage and very comfortable beds. The best part of the room was our lovely fruit and champagne trays waiting with a mini bar stocked daily with beer, sodas and waters. Our views were spectacular and we dream of seeing them again. The resort has a lovely beverage and snack lounge which is heavily airconditioned and a perfect cooling spot for a break from the heat and sun. All of the food we had was delicious, the kids loved the kids food snack shack and their own kid bar with blended fruit juice drinks! Our last nigh we enjoyed a "romantic" (we had the kids) Italian meal that was a special custom menu and lovely! My husband and son played golf twice on one of the local courses which they both really enjoyed and I got a massage with full spa experience. The spa has a nice circuit of steam/dry saunas and jacuzzies for a full relaxing preparation for your treatment. The only thing that made us sad about this trip was leaving the resort!!! We will absolutely be back and tell everyone we know about Ixtapa itself and this amazing resort!!!

The costumer service is very good. The location , the beach, the pool, the children's water park , the bar outside an the service there are very good. The location of the restaurants and the people that served us very nice and helpful. The rooms are good. The room cleaning are good. The sunscape lounge are very good. But the food ...... We were there in 9 people of the same family. We occupied 4 rooms. Neither of us liked the food. The breakfast was the best meal even with the no fresh bread ( that is very bad). The lunch was bad, bad in the appearance and in the taste. The only thing we could eat was the salad and the bread ( in the lunch they are fresh). The dinner was the same. The dessert very bad also. You must at least have ice cream for the kids like everywhere I've been in Mexico before!! I hope you can improve your food service.

Me and my husband came here to celebrate our holiday's and the service was awesome. The weather, unbelievable. The food left too much to say, but you kind of expect it from an all inclusive. Felipe, the guy that receives you was the best. The staff from the lobby changed our room to the one fitted the most for us, Al of the bar staff were amazing, doing jokes, making rapport building, being there for us; it's because of them that we would come back. The entertainment staff did their best, however the person that is in charge of the entertainment organization is not working correctly. The shows are not entertaining, even though the staff is great. Overall, it is a great resort. However tells you that the beds are bad, sleeps on clouds cause, on our perspective, the beds were great! Raymundo and Alejandro will have a place on our hearts!!! We love you!!

I have been to many Mexican resorts. This by far is the worst hotel all inclusive I have ever stayed at. Yes the pool is nice and the rooms are great. It’s also in a great location with shops and restaurants across the street. But everything else is awful, the food is so bad that we have gone out to eat most nights for dinner, the hallway on our floor has not been swept or washed during our 2 week stay. Half the time there has not been new towels in our room but they have taken the old ones. You can not eat anywhere on the pool deck. We also chose this resort because they have a big water park as we thought it would be fun for our 15 month old. They kept telling us he was to young. That we couldn’t not go down the water slide with him. And that we couldn’t even have one parent at the top of the slide and another at the bottom so he could have fun. The booze is sub par all no name brands. The cleanliness of the hotel is not great. There is also no ice cream at this resort. The only positive to this resort are handful of nice staff and the sun club lounge. But even that was slim.
