If you like waiting in long lines just to get into the restaurants and then waiting again to have someone serve you average food then this is the place. At the Buffett you can’t serve yourself and they don’t have enough people serving so it takes forever. They use hienz ketchup bottle and think they are ticking you by putting Mexican tomato sauce in there at the food truck. That needs to stop. Watered down runny nachos Can’t find a beach chair by the pool or beach because people start reserving them at 7am and they don’t enforce the hour idle rule. The property is nice. Could use some updated. Staff is good, just make sure you have a mask on. Great place for kids!

I can't think of anything good to say about this resort, I've been to multiple all inclusive resorts in Mexico and this was by far my worst experience. Biggest issue was the food, not only do you have to wait in line for 10-30 minutes every time you want to eat but the food was not good at all multiple of us got stomach problems and none of us had anything that we really liked. Bed were uncomfortable, hotel rooms slammed so you would wake up middle of the night by someone going to their room, terrible customer service. Their manager didn't even speak English and did not care about their food being spoiled. I can sit here and complain for an hour about how bad it is but long story short I would avoid this place at all costs.

Honestly…if you want convenience with a family this is NOT it. They were super stingy on bottled water and we had to go to a specific counter to get it and they would only give us the number of bottles per people in our party. They have a huge break with almost no food options from 12-1:30 and you can’t take food out of the restaurant when they are open to eat in your room but room service takes at least 45 minutes. The rooms were out dated and ours smelled musty and mildewy. The view is gorgeous and our child had fun but frankly it wasn’t relaxing for us as parents. Unfortunate!!!

From the moment we arrived till our departure, our holiday was excellent. When we booked our room we advised them that we we're celebrating a retirement and a 60th birthday. The room we got was exceptional. A suite with banners, cold beer, etc. The staff were exceptional. The food was good. You must go to the Italian restaurant. The pool was awesome, just the right temperature. Our only complaint was there could have been more serving staff at times. We'll be back again. Special thanks to Roger, Jesus, Omer, and many more 5hat went out of their way to make our vacation perfect.

Second time there for a wonderful 2 week vacation and it won't be our last. Going back in January! The hotel is nice and close to downtown with buses and taxis easily available and very cheap. 40 minute taxi drive to the beautiful Botanical Gardens only about 20 US $. You MUST visit these fabulous gardens, lovely restaurant and best gift shop in Puerto Vallarta. The hotel has good food in the buffet, especially at breakfast and the Italian restaurant has a dress code (which is nice...no reservations needed) and the food is great! Best desserts as well, even the Italian tourists gave it thumbs up! Staff is constantly cleaning and also are the most pleasant and helpful you would want. Special mention to Roger ( part of the concierge staff) who is "Mr Personality Plus". We always looked for him when we needed anything and he never let us down. Fun guy who really enjoys his job. Our housekeeper Rosario was sweet and very efficient, kept our room very clean with lots of towels and our fridge was alwlays topped up with water and soft drinks. Can't say enough about this resort. Ooops, almost forgot to mention the FABULOUS ENTERTAINMENT. Everything from lovely live music, to dancers, flame jugglers and fireworks. Couldn't ask for a better time at twice the price! Hey, Roger, see you in January, bring your baby pictures!

If I could give no stars I would! My husband and I became members after visiting other resorts. One of the deciding factors was how welcoming and friendly the staff was. If we had visited this location first we would NEVER have become members. The noise level at this resort is horrible for those who want to get any sleep with concerts on the beach until 12:00am. The staff was very rude and not helpful in any way. We arrived at the hotel checked in went to room that was supposed to be a romantic suite look out the window and its right next to the kids water park. We asked about being moved to a different room they stated there wasn't anything open until the following day. We had looked at the Dream's and Secret's to see if they had available rooms but after we were told they would move us we decided to give the hotel a chance. The next morning we informed they could not move us as the other guest decided to stay longer. They now wanted to charge us for three nights of our stay after only being there one. Long story short we ended up leaving and going to Dream's and that is where our vacation began! Not sure why the staff at these locations are so different in how they treat people but we will never stay at any Sunscape again.

Beautiful Sea and beach view from our room, warm and attentive staff, and safety with regard to mask wearing made this a great winter escape from the cold. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Ok food and drinks. The towel issue made it less enjoyable, as people grabbed stacks of beach towels and placed them on lounges, to reserve them for the day. Even though they were not using those chairs, we were prevented from enjoying a single time during the week, of pool or beach relaxation.

Here is my honest opinion about this resort. My family and I spent 6 days here and while we did enjoy the pool and some of the kid activities this resort lacks a lot of. For example long lines for breakfast and dinner. Also at the bar there is always a line and the only bar open after 7pm is inside the lobby. Let’s talk about the food there is no variety in the buffet always the same options and the food is not good at all. Only place we liked was tiki taco their tacos and burritos were pretty good. Also there is no options for kids for dinner like basic things like pizza hamburgers or fries stuff kids like. Some of the waiters and staff can be rude one pool waiter wouldn’t even look at us to take our order unless u wave dollars then they would treat you like royalty which it should not be like that. Shout out to Alex and Miguel by the pool they are excellent at customer service and very friendly. Also security at the front gate name Ulises was very polite and a great person he truly is a great worker. Honestly I don’t see myself coming back here there are way better options in Vallarta our experience was just OK the resort needs major upgrades and also more staff and more food options. But we still made it fun and ate out pretty much everyday if you don’t believe me you will see for yourself if you stay here.
