★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located right on the beautiful and beach of La Punta Zicatela, Sunset Beach Hostel and Punta Vida bar are two of my favourite places in Puerto Escondido. The location is idyllic, and the guys who work there could not be more accommodating! The accommodation is well-equipped and clean and it is easy to meet other travellers between the hostel and the bar. Definitely worth a stay whilst you are in Puerto Escondido!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved my stay at this hostel, planned to stay there once for a couple of days, but somehow I came back 5 more times. In total stayed there about 3 weeks, I love the people who stayed there, worked there or just occasionally passed by for either the weekly BBQ or one of the many parties there. I love the location and the vibe and had an amazing time there. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time in Puerto Escondido / La Punta!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked two nights and ended up staying 10 days, you’re literally on the beach so it’s the best place to see the sunset, play volleyball and meet other travelers! The people who work there are really nice and helpful. I would 100% recommend Sunset Beach House and Punta Vida bar !!
