The micheladas are horrible without grace, tasteless and tasteless ... Low price range. I mean the terrace bar of the place. The view is very good but the prepared beer does not help you at all.

Pues...
Well... Meh, I have many opinions about it. Let's start with the good. The location is excellent: -You have the Chedrahui in front to stock up on whatever you may need from a supermarket -The hotel is located just halfway between Playa Zicatela, Playa Carrizalillo or Playa Bacocho. You can walk to any of them and not die trying. Or you can go to the Main Bay which is literally walking straight from the hotel, crossing over the pedestrian bridge. -It is a decent distance from the center of Puerto Escondido. -The terrace has a very nice view -They have billiards that although it is deteriorated, it can be used well. Now the bad: -THE NOISE FROM THE AVENUE IS UNBEARABLE. If you are a light sleeper like me, forget about sleeping properly. -The internet is non-existent, better not even count on it. -Yes, the current receptionist (a lady with glasses with short hair) has a bad attitude. It seems that he does not want to explain things to you and treats you with a certain disdain. The complaints of past years or months are much more severe, so it seems that his attitude has improved a little since then. -Yes there is hot water, but you have to waste water waiting for it to come out. -Room 1 has a broken strainer, it stank a lot of sewage, besides it was covered. I don't know if that happens in other rooms. -The bathroom rate is completely unusable, you can hardly sit sideways because facing it is impossible. And that I am a small person. Imagine if you are tall. In conclusion, I think that all this is largely due to the price. I booked 5 days and 4 nights through Price Travel, it was very cheap with everything and flight. This place is acceptable if you don't have much budget to come to Puerto Escondido, but if you can afford something better, go for it.

Rascuacho the hotel, yes, but it has what it takes to be comfortable and go to see the port. The staff is friendly, plus the guy who is on the terrace, they have a pool table, drinks and you can ask for the music you like. The view from the hotel to the beach is very cool, there is a supermarket nearby and everything is central from the hotel. Keep improving and intensify hygiene measures in general and for covid!

Bonito old hotel, clean and recently painted with a small shaded pool. Only one channel on TV though. OTA digital transmission. No cable. Fabulous hillside view of Marina and beach. Close to everything. Across from Chedraui and just 100 metres from the ADO terminal. Perfect location - almost. Unfortunately, I suspect it was built when the Coastal Highway was still a dirt road. The road noise from the highway now is astounding on the otherwise beautiful terrace and reflects off the hard surfaces to permeat the entire floor. I can't see a solution other than to glass it in - which would block the breeze which keeps the building cool. Sound-dampening ceiling and wall panels and a rubberized floor might help, as would a door. Need a good architect to figure it out. Still, a clean, comfortable and economical choice within bag-carrying distance from the bus station and collectivo services. They did make a half-hearted attempt at hostel-style accommodation, but seem to have given that up. The only fridge holds beer and such for the bar and is locked. I got the distinct impression I was not welcome to use the kitchen despite being the only guest, yet I saw no sign of a menu either, despite the shelves being well-stocked with plates, cups and sundries. Beautiful, classic hotel in limbo. Management needs to come up with a clear strategy to fit the physical realities of the location, address the shortcomings and exploit the advantages - the proximity to the supermarket being the most obvious. An outdoor shared kitchen in the garden area, perhaps? A meal plan? The quiet garden area is under-utilized. Perhaps change the focus to it and away from the 2nd floor terrace? Definitely close in or at least shade the lower terrace. Either way, you need a new vision, you need to move towards it and new investment is required. Continuing on the current path is a downward trajectory. Thanks for the comfortable bed and good luck!

The hotel charged the money but they didnt accomodate us there. They told us that they have full hotel and our booking is not correct. Therefore I immediately asked via booking for cancellation without any fee and they rejected it. Tried to reach them through whatsapp, email, booking directly to the hotel -> no response. Booking support for customers didnt get confirmation by the hotel what happened. Not recommended at all!
