We had a fantastic vacation in Cancun,Mexico at Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club Nov of 2019 before the pandemic. This all-inclusive-package made our short escape a very memorable one. We’re also able to hop to other 2 resorts (sister hotel) and enjoy same amenities. All three meals with snacks to their restaurants all you can eat and drink free of charge? take me back there, mi amor! I would also like to commend their staff for honesty. We were too busy taking photos on a sundowning time and I left my purse somewhere. All our passports were there, some jewelry, important Identification cards, credit cards, and cash all intact and complete. I got it back without hassle. Gracias!

We stayed at Sunset Marina Cancun past 5 days. From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with open arms, made us feel very welcome! Every night they had some event in the lobby for the guests to partake in which made the stay even more enjoyable. Oscar and his staff in the kitchen had the food up to quality and great menus every night. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with the best Wi Fi connection throughout. We Strongly recommend Sunset Marina to future guests.

Do not go there! The food was terrible. The wait staff was so slow. Alnost every meal at a restaurant was over 1.5 hour wait and i wish i was exaggerating. The room next to us was constantly under construction we td the front desk several times and they did nothing. Not only that the staff said we never complained until the last day which is a lie we complained abouy it every day and nothing was done. I haven't been to cancun in 21 years the construction woke me up at 8 am everyday of my 9 day vacation. Horrible customer service avoid this place the all inclusive was not worth it we constantly went out to eat fiod was gross and drinks were weak.

Our first time here. We transferred a timeshare to come here. Owners here have all inclusive while we had the European deal (We paid for food and drinks). The Exchange rate was 19:1 so it wasn't a bad deal and we would go outside the resort to eat a few times. Theres a couple of Coronas in the refrigerator when you get there but the only beer they had throughout the resort was Modelo on tap which I don't prefer. There's a minimart/drug store across the street the sells wine and beer. There's a great seafood sports bar right next door Kudos Raw Bar &Grill). Our room had an electrical hazard but the manager moved us into another room right away. The food at the restaurants in the resort was very good (buffet was ok). La Vela restaurant (asian food) was very good the first time but they switched chefs during the week and it was noticeable. The manager, Pamela was awesome and took care of everything for us. My wife and I got massages at the spa and they were excellent (Georgina and Annie are very knowledgeable and knew all the pressurepoints). If you scuba dive, there's Coconut Divers next door and all my trips were great. Your at the marina so you can get a water taxi to just about anywhere including the sister resorts. They also have shuttles the go the the sister resorts and back. Don't miss the sunsets on a clear day. We reccomend this place.

Such friendly and lovely staff. I’m so grateful for their sincerity and kindness. Very clean and organized resort. Nice variety of foods at breakfast buffet. Appreciated water taxi to Sunset Royal resort.

This is a beautiful laid back property in the hotel zone although a peaceful reprieve from the most hectic parts (coco bongo, etc) that I have no interest in. Friendly and helpful staff and the food has been excellent…though not a ton of variety, it’s all been very good. The yachts and tourist fishing boats coming and going in and out of the marina make it interesting. I took the city bus to and from almost everything…12 pesos is better than the ~100+ pesos for taxi fare. This might be a timeshare property, but I think that only because of the “for members…” reference on signs in a few places on the property. There was no effort to sell me a timeshare…refreshing. I highly recommend this place.

Sunset marina was a beautiful experience. Everybody was so friendly. The swim up pool bar was great and the pool was so refreshing. Two people that stood out to us and offered exceptional service were. Ian the entertainment director. Ian always so happy and accommodating. Jim and I did lots of the activities. Two alcohol Classes and bocce ball and water polo . So much fun!! Our next favorite was the bartender Mexico. He always had our drinks ready for us and always so friendly. I would recommend the stay here to others. We visited Sunset Royal which was nice but not as friendly as our resort sunset marina . I’ll definitely miss it. Cancun was awesome !!!
