★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Close walking distance to resort. Higher prices but expected. Was not accepting US dollars but was taking credit cards, I used Discover and they took it. ATM right outside entrance but it appears to dispense US dollars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is well stocked with a variety of items. This is a relatively small supermarket based upon many markets in the USA, but I found everything that I needed. The staff was friendly. Bring your own shopping bag.

Chips were marked $2.29 . The price imprinted on the bag was taped over and priced at $5!!!
Staff was very polite.
Just expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While a bit pricier than what you would find in town, Sunset is super convenient and within walking distance of Paradise Village and other nearby resorts and condos. You can get fresh produce, meats, grocery items from the US and Mexico, things needed for the beach ( like sand toys, sunscreen, flip flops), and other essentials ?. We buy our water there in two gallon jugs.
The bag boys, who don't get paid and work for tips only, will happily haul your jugs of water and groceries to your residence for you for a small tip. Bring your own bags or buy grocery bags there.
Make sure you bring or buy a fruit and veggie wash to treat your produce while in Mexico. We use Grapefruit Seed Extract, 10 drops to every liter of water. Soak for 20 minutes. No need to rinse!
