★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend (a local), recommended that I eat here. He told me to try the Guerito Cheese: Chopped up breaded shrimp with spicy (but not really) yellow peppers and melted cheese... in a tortilla =).
Boy did he steer me in the right direction... it's now a must when I visit Hermosillo. The prices are great, too... and they have huge cooling fans that keep the outdoor sitting area cool. The staff doesn't really interact much: you walk up and order from the guys that are cooking and preparing the food, you go sit down, they bring your plate to you, you walk over to the salsa bar that has some good cabbage salad that you put on your tacos, you add salsa or any of their flavored mayo sauces, you sit and eat... and if you're full, you walk up to the cashier person to pay and voila... you're done. Good stuff.
