After two weeks of eating out in Morelia, mainly at expensive and "boutique" restaurants, I arrived to the conclusion that the true cuisine of this city was to be found in the markets and the traditional diners. It is a waste of time and money to try to have a gastronomic experience anywhere else. That is, until I found this gem of a place, which offers great food at an incredibly sensible place with a new menu every day. The dishes are tastefully done in a clearly Mexican style. (For the record, I am not a vegetarian). So, take advantage of the opportunity, and do not leave Morelia without paying a visit to the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dine-in available. 8-12 is breakfast. Buffet starts from 12.30 i suppose. We visited for breakfast. The choices were good, good portion size and tasty and prices were unbelievably low. Lots of seating space. Cash only. One star less for the fact that the waitress was not wearing a mask.

The waitress was cordial and she was wearing a mask. Despite coming in rush hour, we found a seat outside and kept social distancing.
