★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to eat in downtown Playa. Right next to Starbucks and a couple other restaurant/bars - the outdoor seating area is very relaxed and comfortable. Food was delicious, service was impecable... my only complaint is that they served my red wine chilled. I know that is rather common here but I prefer it room temperature. Overall, a great dining experience - I would definitely come back! Prices are on the expensive side but everything in this part of town is. You pay for location and ambiance in addition to the food and service I suppose...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update on Sushitto, food is excellent, very tasty, service has taken a nose dive. So far, we’ve waited 40 minutes and no one came to even give us menus or offer drinks. I wouldn’t mind if they were busy but the place is empty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty mediocre sushi but it’s Mexico so you shouldn’t be too surprised. Sushi was edible but vegetable fried rice wasn’t good. Only nice thing was each roll had 10 pieces which was a lot. Most of the rolls have cream cheese in them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best food stops I had while in Playa del Carmen! Amazing service and there is choice of sitting outside and taking in the atmosphere or being seated inside. If you are not one for smokers, sitting outside is not for you. The drinks were great! We came for the sushi and got amazing service! Make sure to try the plantains, they're amazing!

And some of it was the worst i ever had
It is not japanese but Mexicans, which is definitely reflected in the quality
They told me 16 pesos was a bad tip and said I could not leave before i left 10% !?
They did nothing to deserve a tip! I left with 5%
I find it expensive for what you get tbh :)
I was nice you could sit in and out tho
