★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is really good. I had the Udon with beef and spicy salmon. Great presentation and good flavor. The service, however, absolutely sucked. I had to leave my outdoor table and walk inside after waiting over 20 min without seeing a single member of the staff. Then I had to do the same to order another beer. It was like all customers were simply forgotten about. I don't know where the waiter went, but eventually it seemed like the sushi chef started waiting tables. If they'd upgrade their customer service, this would have been 4.5 stars at least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there specifically to try their Tonkotsu ramen.Tonkotsu broth was OK, it had a bouillon salty taste that I didn't quite love, but the pork was very good.
Ambience is pretty legit, any small place in Japan will have a similar feel.
Servers are slow but friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been coming to this place for years, maybe 2-3 times a year. I always held in high regard, the Japanese chef used to care about food. Tonight, and I don’t now if it’s because they opened two months ago after the pandemic shutdown, food was disgusting.
A very diluted katsu curry, came with rice, no veggies. The uni roll, deplorable. Sad eel sauce and the eel was cold and not firm. The Tampico (imitation crab spicy paste) had a foul smell. Just couldn’t eat it. The Horenso Gom ae was actually edible. Even the beer bottle smelled horrible.
The only reason I gave it a star is cause the server was friendly. If in the area and want Japanese food avoid this place and go to Tori Tori or Kura. What a shame what this place has become.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Miso Ramen is BAD. The taste does not even resemble real ramen at all. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I really should ask my money back, I just don't want to create a scene.

The ramen was not good in terms of flavor; and then the pork was overcooked. Seems they were hiding something and now I can see why!
Deft not a good place for a date!
The embarrassment that ensued after eating there is small compared to the doctors visit
