It just opened. Drinks menu limited to a selection of the highest quality. Warm and professional service, you are in the hands of specialists who understand your area well. Everything from the selection of drinks to the water they serve with home drinks has exceptional quality. It is not cheap, but there is value in a job well done by people who understand well what they do.

Minimalistic venue, premium ingredients, with attentive, English-speaking service. Decent cocktails (better than the ones from the bar upstairs lol). In terms of nigiri, our favorites were uni (generous portion) and king salmon. The staff were knowledgeable about celiac/gluten allergy, and used gluten-free soy sauce on our nigiris. Compared to Sushi Kyo, I think the dishes were not as creative for the same price point. Overall, there is a wow factor missing for me, though there is no doubt that this is a solid restaurant to get high quality sushi from. Finally, one attention to detail for consideration: typically the tamago nigiri is served at the end of the savory dishes, as a precursor to dessert. However, the tamago was served as the first of our nigiris, which I found unconventional.

Love how this place is an open space. Waitresses service were excellent. Everything was fresh. But the fish are not very well cut. Maybe the real chef was not there.

Seriously, this place is in a different dimension when it comes to sushi and Japanese food. I have a very high bar when it comes to sushi and Japanese food and have tried it in so many different places around the globe. This restaurant is by far one of the best in the world. The fish is just so fresh and it melts in your mouth. The service was superb. Juceline, our server, was super friendly, very knowledgeable in sushi, sake, and everything else. I was quite impressed with her professionalism and hospitality. Not to mention, their tableware, like bowls, cups, glasses, and every single detail, felt like I was in a very upscale Japanese restaurant in Japan. This place is not cheap, but you will feel money well spent. If you know Japanese food and sushi, you must go here. They also have other restaurants in NYC and La Jolla, CA.
