★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Los tacos de Chepe los he comido desde hace más de 20 años que llegué a Bacalar y siempre regresamos, son deliciosos!!!!!!! Si no quieres tanta grasa, hay de carne asada. Hay tacos y tortas, los tacos están preparados con tortillas hechas a mano que literalmente están saliendo del comal y las están llevando a tu mesa. Las salsas deliciosas y para acompañar tacos y tortas, ricas aguas naturales. Riquísimo todo!!! Muy recomendado!!!
I have eaten Chepe's tacos for more than 20 years that I arrived in Bacalar and we always come back, they are delicious !!!!!!! If you don't want so much fat, there is roast beef. There are tacos and cakes, the tacos are prepared with handmade tortillas that are literally coming out of the comal and taking them to your table. Delicious sauces and to accompany tacos and cakes, rich natural waters. Delicious everything !!! Highly recommended!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best pork Carnitas I have had in Mexico. Staff and owner are friendly and speak English as well. Pork is super tasty, especially on a grilled bum from the BBQ. The tacos are hand made and baked on the BBQ outdoors as well. Portions are big and served with unions. Go here for breakfast or lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe this place has gone downhill over the last two years. Our experience was much different than the other reviews.
To be fair we arrived close to closing time which is around 2pm Sunday.
People were not friendly and the tacos were very dry, not like the pictures at all.
Just chunks of dry meat to on a taco or bun with a few ok sauces to put on.
Maybe better earlier in the day.
