Great street stall for authentic mexican food with tacos and quesadillas! Food, 5 stars, almost all locals, 15 pesos. Highly recommended if you're nearby.

Food here is awesome, and I don't mean compared only to other street food. Every time I have the empenada with mole amarillo I wonder why I ever eat anywhere else. Tacos and qusadillas are great too. Tacos Del Carmen is an especially good choice if you have a lot of things planned that day and want a quick breakfast without sacrificing time for quality.

Street food, good price and different options. But overall the quesadillas and tacos are not amazing

One of the few places that we decided to visit more than once because it's that good! The ladies here at the stand make an interesting variety of delicious food with their old school comals! Very different compare to the traditional street food selection you get around Oaxaca. The tacos are rolled tacos so super easy to eat and scope/dip in the homemade salsas... MUST HAVE their Chicken Empanada and Quesadilla with the squash blossoms!!! The chicken empanada has almost a reddish soup in it (very VERY hot since they hand it off straight to you from the comal)... definitely burnt my mouth the first time having it but worth it! No words can explain how delicious that sauce is with the tender shredded chicken in the giant empanada... And the squash blossom quesadilla was a nice find especially after SOOOOO much meat from the other typical stands and the smoke meat market. Didn't see squash flowers offered at food carts around town either, only at specific restaurants. It hit the spot loaded with obscene amount of local cheese... Stop reading my long review already and make sure sure you find the ladies early before they run out of popular items!

Oh hello!! This is our favourite taco place in Oaxaca for a quick fast cheap meal. Make sure you come early in the day, apparently they close down when they sell out (3ish?). We grabbed 3 tacos for our flight home. They don’t travel well but now we know for next time to just scarf them down! We tried a mushroom and chorizo taco, but we prefer the chorizo. I did see salsa y chicharron as an option, I would give that a try next time!!

Fast, cheap, tasty! Had two tacos (chorizo and mushroom) and the chorizo was my favorite. Also got the Amarillo empanada which was unique with the herb flavor. Also fair warning: the salsas are HOT! She’s only open for lunch and seating is limited, so plan accordingly - either come early or eat on the go.

Absolutely a must for anyone visiting. 4 tacos and a water are 110 pesos. Tinga is the standout, but all of it was delicious.
