★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the best meal of our month long stay here in San Miguel at Tacos Don Felix. The margaritas are enormous and strong, the tacos are small but tasty and delicious and the huitlacotche enchiladas were fantastic. Best of all, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was unbeatable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local gem of a restaurant tucked away in Colonia Independencia in SMA. Family owned friendly excellent service and warm Mexican style ambience. Had huge and delicious margaritas with bacon wrapped shrimp. Will return with friends and family. Highly recommend!

I’ve spent the better part of 20 years in pursuit of the perfect plate of enchiladas verdes, and that search has officially ended at Tacos Don Felix. Seriously, their Salsa Verde belongs in a museum. Plus Felix and his wife are always the most friendly hosts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is legit. I’ve been here now 3 times in a week and they are only open Fri-Sun. The enchiladas are yummy. The margaritas are massive but delicious. And currently they are serving Chiles en Nogada because pomegranates are in season. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options (they will customize for you!) and work hard to make you feel at home and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the vibe of the restaurant, the decor and music are perfect. I've been twice and got the same grumpy waiter twice ? For me the food has too much salt but I'm sensitive to that. My wife liked her breakfast burrito with chicken fajitas, only available on Sundays! Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trust me, you need these enchiladas and margaritas as big as your face! Seriously the margaritas are GIANT (not super sweet and not weak. Perfectly balanced) it’s like getting 2 for the price of 1! Truly Incredible quality and value all around! Large portions! Couldn’t even finish my enchiladas Gloria! Definitely a top dining experience for me here in SMA. Friendly and prompt service too. If I were living here, I’d come every weekend. Lovely atmosphere as well. Very highly recommend!
