Tacos El Grillo - 83550 Puerto Peñasco

We come to eat here every time we visit Puerto Peñasco. Never disappoints! It is family own and ran. Very small establishment based out of the front of their home. They mostly sell tacos at a very reasonable price. For a family of 5, we bought 20 tacos and 5 drinks for $29.

The times i come to Puerto Peñasco, I always make a stop at this taqueria because they make some good carne asada taquitos plus the costumer service is great, very nice people. I forgot a picture of my ? ?

I have tried several different tacos here and they have all been excellent. Generous portions of meat and the owners and workers are all very friendly and attentive. Always greeted with a smile from them.

We really enjoyed our stop at El Grillo. We felt more welcomed here than any of our other meals in town. I’d recommend the tacos de birria. Flavor was very good

This quaint corner taco shop is a gem. Manny and Gina are the most hospitable and welcoming people. We usually stop and get tacos here, just about everyday, for lunch while in Puerto Peñasco, which we have done for the last 15 years since my nana found them. We even have a couple family photos on the wall of fame. Manny is a killer griller, and makes THE best tacos in town, hands down. Their carne asada tacos are flavorful, and cooked to perfection, as well as their birria, which melts in your mouth it’s so tender. They serve platters of taco toppings, cilantro, diced onion, pico, limes, radishes, and amazing pickled onions, cheese on request. The flour tortillas they use are incredible, thin, but soaks in the flavor of your meat of choice, a hearty helping of meat I might add. Definitely ask for the beans, it’s a little “sample” of their pinto beans, but if you love them as much as we do, you’ll also get a large order to take home with you to roll into tortillas to enjoy later. Do not pass by the opportunity to be treated like family while stuffing your face with the best tacos in town, you will not be disappointed.

Beens to several taco shacks, carts, restaurants in the area for vacation and this has to be the friendliest and honest mom/pop shop in puerto penasco. Manuel and Gina were very welcoming and accommodated our broken spanish and got our order perfectly.

this place was amazing! very friendly staff, delicious food (we tried birria, asada and volcanes) and an incredible house made salsa that you can buy and take home. so glad we stopped here while in puerto peñasco
