★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tacos Pan-Pin is in the parking lot of a now defunct bead company. According to my friend it has been in this lot over 35 years. So the bread maker (named Pan Pin) is gone but the great tacos live on.
They have carne asada and pork al pastor on a soft tortilla as well as on a tostada. The seating is ordinary, plastic chairs and tables, you sit where there is a seat with people you just met. The condiments (salsas, lime, etc) are served family-style. Be ready to eat when you sit because the service is fast and there will likely be people waiting for your place.
I recommend every taco and tostada they sell but the crispy al pastor ranks with the best in Mazatlan. Recommended without reservation.
