★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bar is a real experience. And the batangas are really really good, really really strong, and really really really cheap.
The bartender probably poured 2.5 shots of tequila into a pint glass before topping it off with Mexican coke (the best!) and lime juice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local bar where people get drunk on tequila mixed with cola. They will welcome you and be happy to meet foreigners. I was lucky to be joining some singers to a different club and have a typical Mexican night out on a Monday evening until 1am

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an excellent night here for my husbands birthday, drinking the Palomas because I don’t like coke. Great vibe, awesome mix of people, lots of tequila. What more could you want? Walked past the following morning and the cleaner was belting his heart out with some traditional tunes. Loved it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A dirty place with a bunch of drunks. Bar is sticky and over charging foreigners. I am all about adventuring and exploring off the beaten path places but this is a dump! And they had the audacity to charge 70 pesos for a watered down drink. Go to Don Kikos instead where you can get a drink for 1/3 of the price and it’s stronger and service is great!

The owner is a lovely gent, always up for a chat and can tell you amazing stories from the 80+years they have been open, it is the oldest bar in Tequilla.
