★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best papas locas in Mazatlan. There are a couple of other great places with papas locas, but Taco Wicho is the best! Carne asada tacos are muy bueno! Bring your own cervesa, or buy cervesa across the street. Great service as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best tacos in Mazatlan hands down. I convinced my group to taxi outside the Gold Zone for these, and BOY was Wicho worth it.
I had both carne asada tacos and tripe, with an order of "papas locas," or mashed potatoes topped with taco ingredients.
Authentic, friendly, quick, and absolutely wonderful, this place is comfort food.
HIGHLY recommended.

American credit card doesn’t seem to work They let me go back to my hotel and get cash without washing dishes
They don’t sell beer but two stores down is Mexican beer heaven called la escocesa where you can buy with credit The mesero has a bottle opener
