★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So GOOD!! I had the nachos with chorizo and grilled steak and onions. The nachos were the selling point for me. Great portion for the price and super flavorful. The steak was okay, a little dry, but tasty. I believe every order comes with a salsa and chips plate, and boy, were the portions GENEROUS. We had a full sampler of chips and different salsas. I also had a mango margarita and it was one of the best margaritas I’ve had in Cancun!! Lovely local spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here our first night in Cancun, it was recommended by someone at our hotel. It looks unassuming but the food is fast, fresh, inexpensive, and above all, delicious. Waiters are some of the most friendly we’ve met and are always ready to come to your table.
Couldn’t ask for better prices or better service.
TL;DR ate here first night, went back every day of our trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were staying at the hotel next door and wanted to give it a try one evening and were not disappointed. It is a small, local place with swift service and delicious food. Not expensive at all, either. Tacos were good but I recommend the nachos arrachera which were delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed the food at Tacun! We ordered the garlic fish filet and chicken enchiladas, as well as guacamole and the chocoflan. The fish was delicious, although would have been nice to have a bit more rice/salad with it. Chicken enchiladas were also great, but the chicken was a tad on the dry side. The guacamole was unbelievably good, as was the chocoflan and nacho chips & salsas! The service was exceptional - warm and wonderful people!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely experience, authentic food and the sweetest staff! They are the best and would highly recommend this place, they had some live music and it felt like a true Mexican experience. We ordered Enchiladas and Tacos, food portions are big and satisfying, very affordable and meal for two cost around 500 pesos which is phenomenal. You have to try it!!!
