NUESTRA HISTORIA

Robert y David Lando abrieron la primera tienda The Athlete's Foot en 1971, en Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Fue la primera tienda especializada en calzado deportivo de su tipo en Estados Unidos. Más tarde se convirtió la primera franquicia de calzado deportivo en el mundo, con más de 200 tiendas para 1978. En ese año, la cadena estadounidense dio el salto internacional y abrió una sucursal en Adelaide, Australia.
En México, la primera sucursal The Athlete’s Foot se abrió en la ciudad de Torreón, Coahuila en el año 2001, siendo la primera tienda de calzado deportivo de aquella época. Posteriormente, en el 2010 nace la marca TAF para convertirse en la primera cadena de tiendas especializadas en tenis de moda y lifestyle del país.

UN LÍDER MUNDIAL

El día de hoy, The Athlete's Foot aún es reconocido como uno de los líderes de calzado deportivo, y mantiene su compromiso de servicio al cliente de calidad. En el 2012, The Athlete's Foot fue adquirido por INTERSPORT International Corp. (IIC), con sede en Suiza y hoy en día continúa creciendo para llegar a más personas y seguir incentivando la cultura de los sneakers.
Actualmente TAF cuenta con más de 530 tiendas en más de 30 países del mundo.

En general recomendable. I came out with 2 pairs of discounted shoes and one pair at a very acceptable normal price. Very good attention from the staff even though the store was full. In general recommended.

Y yo me forme y el chavo que daba acceso me dijo "Tú ya no" solo hasta aquí. Y le pregunté que porque y me dijo que "Ya no tenían acceso, que eran las únicas personaas que iban a pasar porque estaba lleno" y le dije que no tenía problema que yo me formaba y cuando ya no hubiera gente ya pasaba y me dijo "No, ya no puedes pasar aunque te esperes". Entonces me fui y cuando vuelvo a pasar había gente diferente formada y les pregunté a las Personas y me dijeron que si las dejarían pasar. Se me hizo de mal gusto es mi único día de descanso iba a comprar y no se vale que a mí no me dejará pasar. Terrible service, yesterday it was 7:50 and there were people lined up outside the taf shop. And I was trained and the guy who gave me access said "You no longer" only up to here. And I asked him why and he told me that "They no longer had access, that they were the only people who were going to pass because it was full" and I told him that he had no problem that I was trained and when there were no more people he would pass and he told me "No, you can no longer pass even if you wait." So I left and when I come back there were different people formed and I asked the People and they told me if they would let them pass. It made me taste bad, it is my only day off I was going to buy and it is not worth it that he will not let me pass.

Compré unos Stan Smith y salieron defectuosos de la piel, se inflaron sin razón y al momento de pedir mi cambio me hicieron esperar aproximadamente 40 min. En lo que llegaba el gerente y cuando llegó puso miles de pretextos para no cambiarlos, hasta que saqué mi celular para grabarlo, después accedió pero se tardaron 2 días en darme respuesta y cuando fui a la tienda me dieron unos que estaban como abollados de la punta y uno más amplio que el otro (siendo de la misma talla) ya no quise dicutir y terminé aceptando lo que me dieron. Pésimo servicio en mi experiencia. In my experience very bad service! I bought some Stan Smiths and they came out defective in the skin, they swelled for no reason and when I asked for my change they made me wait approximately 40 min. When the manager arrived and when he arrived he put thousands of excuses not to change them, until I took out my cell phone to record it, then he agreed but it took 2 days to give me an answer and when I went to the store they gave me some that were like dented from the tip and one wider than the other (being the same size) I no longer wanted to dictate and ended up accepting what they gave me. Terrible service in my experience.
