★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a pair of Tags while in Mexico last year and then ordered four more pairs online this January to be shipped to the UK. The process was super simple, they don't have an online shop but I just got in touch via FB messenger and we sorted it there. Such wonderful designs and people - they will brighten my spring/summer here in the UK. Highly recommended! Check out their instagram for the latest!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Those two former industrial design students are selling shoes similar to Hawaianas which are handmade by indigenous Mayan community. The designs are a demonstration of their magnificent creativity. Additionally they give great advice and are also willing to tell you you the best places for design, fashion, drinks and restaurant in the city. We tried it out and those advices were completely correct. Great time there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom and I had a great time visiting Tags and speaking with Mauricio (he also has excellent restaurant recommendations!) . Their shoes are comfortable, beautifully designed and priced fairly - we ended up ordering several pairs each. I’d highly recommend paying them a visit as soon as you arrive in Merida so you can wear your news shoes around town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a hip pair of shoes from Mauricio from a friend's recommendation. I wish they had more selections on hand but they keep selling out. If you want to secure a pair of a specific design, I recommend you go in to pre-order them and wait for the store to receive them later in the month. Luckily, they had one pair in my size that I actually liked. Next time I'm in Merida, I'll be sure to come back earlier to pick up more pairs for me and as gifts. :)
