S	Sara Paes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very professional and well equipped scuba diving center but still very welcoming and friendly. Everybody that works here is very knowledge, friendly and warm. One of the things I liked the most is that the Center is away from town and will give you an excuse to get away from the busy Paseo area and explore. The views from Takata are a dream. You just have to cross a dirt road to go for a swing between lessons. Paradise! I have to make a special mention to Raimundo that was my Open Water instructor and who made the whole experience easy, fun and unforgettable. Even the boat crew was lovely and made me laugh and feel safe the entire time and they made the most delicious cebiche on my last day. I will definitely come back and already recommend them to my friends.

People are really nice, very much focused on safety and delivering you the best experience. While keeping the ocean healthy is their purpose. Will definitely come back when possible.

The reef is just in front of you. The facility is not to near downtown so you are far from the bustle. They work with small groups, so we felt we were with friends and not like tourists. They are not trying to sell you expensive things and services because they are not focused on money. We already dived few times in other dive centers, but definitively, we are going to go back to Takata for our next certification course!!!

I never expected to feel so anxious about breathing through the equipment since I’ve been a swimmer my whole life. Jorge and the rest of the crew (Katie, Rodo and Giovana) were extra patient and understanding. Thanks to their encouragement I managed to dive for 27 min at 12 meters deep. It was very satisfying, I felt so proud. An unforgettable and incredible experience! I will definitely come back for more!

They are very environmentally aware and do research and preservation work to protect the Mahahual reef. So you know you're spending your money for good. There were 2 other divers when I joined them. But since they were less experienced than me, Takata decided to give me a separate dive instructor. So basically I got two 1/1 dives for 80$ USD ??. The Mahahual reef is very nice and healthy. There's lots of coral trenches to explore, beautiful coral & sponges and I got to see quite a few turtles ?
