El maestro Jose García no es sólo maestro del barro, sino también un maestro de la vida, un ejemplo a seguir no sólo por su talento sino también por la sencillez de su vida y la alegría y el amor con que la vive. Platicar con él y su esposa, Doña Teresita fue un honor y uno de los momentos más preciados y agradables de mi estancia en Oaxaca.
Beautiful workshop but above all beautiful people. Master Jose García is not only a master of clay, but also a master of life, an example to follow not only for his talent but also for the simplicity of his life and the joy and love with which he lives it. Talking with him and his wife, Doña Teresita, was an honor and one of the most precious and pleasant moments of my stay in Oaxaca.

Destacan las piezas gigantes que representan a participantes de las distintas regiones de Oaxaca, quienes forman parte de la famosa fiesta de la Guelaguetza. Además podrás adquirir tazas, sirenas, macetas y decenas de figuras elaboradas en barro. Además se ofertan talleres para aprender a moldear barro.
Incredible workshop of José García, a popular artist who works with clay. In this place you can find clay figures of different sizes, shapes and colors. The giant pieces that represent participants from the different regions of Oaxaca, who are part of the famous Guelaguetza festival, stand out. You can also buy cups, mermaids, flowerpots and dozens of figures made of clay. In addition, workshops are offered to learn how to mold clay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very talented Potter (Jose) and his family. The entire studio is filled with years of work. Very unique pieces ranging from cups, planters to giant status of his wife. He lost his sight 17 years ago but is still creating beautiful work. It's especially romantic because slot of the work is statues of his wife. ♥️❤️?❤️?
