★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid place for a cheap and tasty breakfast. Tamales are sizable and quite filling. I had the verde as well as the pineapple. I wish there was more filling in the verde and I was hoping for chunks of pineapple in the pińa tamal. Solid though. The rice atole (if available) is outstanding. Go here just for the atole.

The best suggestion is to go for the sweet tamales, the "canario" is the best tamal in this place.
