★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente lugar para desayunar si eres turista o local, muy rico y rápido, recomiendo las tortas de chilaquil, el tamal de hoja de platano y el atole de arroz con leche. Tienen menú en inglés y aceptan dolares, excelente servicio.
 Excellent place to have breakfast if you are tourist or local, very rich and fast, I recommend the chilaquil cakes, the banana leaf tamal and the rice with milk atole. They have a menu in English and they accept dollars, excellent service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lady has the best street tamales in Centro. PROTIP: From Thursday to Sunday, she makes chile rellenos and you MUST have one of those in a torta. Those go away fast so you better get there early.
The chocolate is also pretty decent for the price and not too sweet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little Tamales bike stand was very good. $51 peso for 2 tamales with coffee. She has Pollo Mole Negro, pollo verde, and a red one. Very moist not salty nor oily. Bread is from Pana Delria Bamby across street so fresh. Came three times lol. Stomach is fine each time. She uses the napkin to handle the bread instead of her bare hands. Mole Negro is best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to make sure I got a tamale torta before they sold out, so I came here early on a Saturday morning (~8:30am) and what an amazing way to start the weekend! Doña Mari welcomed me as if I was a guest in her home and the food was just as comforting. $20 pesos for the torta. They have several different types of tamales as well as hot drinks (atole, champurrado). You cannot go wrong here! Doña Mari, the person and the food, are a treasure!
