★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to the market specifically for tamales and walked around to see where everyone was eating. This place was packed with locals and so we decided to try it. The tamales are delicious and the staff friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the variety. We tried the mole pollo, chileajo de cerdo, amarillo pollo, verde, tichinda, and camarones. My favorite is the verde. The banana leaves added a really nice flavor too. My friend is a very picky eater and these were her first tamales and she loved it.
