HISTORIA
La primera Escuela Náutica para la Marina Mercante nació en la Isla del Carmen, Campeche en el año de 1822. En 1972 se instituyó el Fideicomiso para la Reestructuración y Funcionamiento de las Escuelas Náuticas y para 1980 se convierte en el actual Fideicomiso de Formación y Capacitación para el Personal de la Marina Mercante Nacional, una Institución dedicada a la educación, actualización y capacitación del personal que conforma la Marina Mercante Mexicana.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hace falta mucha atención y seguimiento de parte de las autoridades hacia los alumnos y los profesores. Nadie esta a cargo de nada y entrw wklos se echan la "bolita "pero no resuelven.
Much attention and follow-up is needed from the authorities towards the students and teachers. Nobody is in charge of anything and in between they throw the "ball" but do not solve.
