I visited on Thursday evening and met ,who I think was owner, white beard glasses with jack up trousers....who greet me like he had just chewed a bee. Surprising as I was only customer in restaurant, thankfully for him this was my only interaction with him. His staff were very attentive and welcoming. Food was of good quality....I had papadums and veg pakora for starters,both great. Then balti gosht with rice and naan bread. Everything was well made....rice in particular was amazing freshly made you just had to be careful not to bite into black cardamom seeds.

The sagh dal, that's lentils with spinach was incredibly good. Highly recommend this dish,

We ordered Chaathi, Poori, chicken tikka masala and tea. I am from India and I didnt feel any of them in Indian taste.. but generally food was good.

Love this place! Great quality Indian food. Love their vegetarian dishes, samosas, shrimp, everything! The service is fast and friendly. Prices are pretty good. The place is nice and cozy and perfectly located in Condesa. A must in Mexico City.

WAITED 1 HOUR FOR FOOD!!! ? Arrived at Tandoor and asked if I could ask the chef to make a potato dish (from back home), they said no the chef wasn’t “allowed” to leave the kitchen. I said ok no problem can I write it on a paper snd you can ask if he can do it. They sent the paper and came back saying the owners don’t LET him make anything from off of the menu. I proceed to order off the menu and am still sitting here waiting for my food. I received the appetizer (veg samosa which hardly had any taste) after 40 minutes. Still no entrees . It’s been ONE HOUR!! I’ve checked several times for how much longer it’ll be and they keep saying it’s almost ready. The restaurant is hardly full. One other couple upstairs with me, and only two tables downstairs occupied. Only reason I’m still waiting is I’m diabetic and my sugars are low so really need some food in my body. UPDATE: After an hour I finally got my food. I asked for Indian spicy and they added a slice of jalapeño on top ?? Mattar paneer tasted good and paneer was really fresh and waiters were nice. Go somewhere else. Extreme amount of oil in the parathas… it’s not poori to be deep fried. Food became cold quick ? Uncle (owners) walked passed me a couple times and didn’t even check in or greet. Ate as much as I needed to to take my meds but nothing more. Throughly disappointed.

Tandoor is a great restaurant. I did visit on my birthday and we had a wonderful meal. It is a great place if you really love Indian & Pakistani food as it is pretty authentic. Our waiter was a bit serious, but kind thought it could be improved by training their personnel; some kindness may come handy. Waiters should be able to offer certain dishes when people don’t know either the menu or the flavors. However, our waiter managed to drew a smile by the end of our visit. I would definitely come back and I widely recommend it.

I am from Pakistan and this is authentic cuisine. I loved all the food!! The Biryani was awesome, and mutton was tender and had the right amount of spice. Little dry naans, but everything else was perfect.

Food is really good!! Most of the sauces are good, some a bit bland. This is all considering taste in general, not specifically indian food taste. In my personal opinion there is that specific spice taste missing in most sauces, but overall it's good and a nice place to go in larger groups. I'd also like to add that their vegetarian options are good, maybe even tastier than the meat options! I recommend the potato tarts y curry sauce ;) Service is very polite, nice and in general welcomimg people! Definetly coming back!
