Tantra | Best beach club in Tulum - 77780 Tulum

Tantra was amazing!! The food and the drinks were fantastic. It was right off the beach, just beautiful. We loved the music they played. There was live music at one point and that was just through the roof. Would recommend 10000%. We went during the day and it was the perfect place to be.

Great place and ambiance. The guys took really good care of us. It is obvious it is going to be a bit expensive but it is worth it. We first went to taboo and it was full so they gave us beds in tantra. They both belong to same group. The food, drinks and shisha are amazing ?? the vibe is really good. It will keep u occupied for at least 4-5 hrs depending on how u spend.

Red carpet rolled out! This place is beautiful the pools set it off the vibe is amazing. The Food was so delicious this Nigerian shrimp appetizer was the best thing ever! This was experience.

Read Before Going - This place is a tourist scam. While the vibe is nice and the food is really good, they will scam you. DO NOT DRINK HERE. The drinks are upwards of $25 for a single shot and if you order a double shot, they literally charge you twice the amount (so $50) and you have no way of proving if you're actually getting top shelf. Also, they do not allow you to bring your own bottled water in so you have no choice but to buy water from them which was upwards of $20-$25 for a small bottle. They do not disclose the prices to you upfront SO ALWAYS ASK FOR THE PRICE PRIOR TO ORDERING. We made the mistake of assuming a bottle of water would be way less than that. We knew there would be a markup but not upwards of $20+. Additionally, double check your receipt to ensure you're only paying for what you ordered. We had some mistakes on ours. Finally, note that there is an expensive cost to get into the beach clubs ranging from $100-$150/person, maybe more. However, if you eat at the restaurant I think you can still access it. Note that even if you make reservations, they may not honor your reservation during peak times. We actually made reservations at Taboo Beach Club and because we didn't have a prepaid reservation (meaning we didn't want a beach club pass of $150/person) and only wanted to eat at the restaurant, they wouldn't allow us in. Instead they walked us over to Tantra so we could eat there instead. I found that to be disappointing because what is the point in having a reservation if they don't actually honor it?! Overall, I will say the vibe and the food was really good. I ordered the burger and fries and it was very flavorful. I'll add a pic. I would even order the food to go if that were an option. HOWEVER I wouldn't recommend this place because of how they scam you with the costs. Hope that helps you!

Love coming here, they have the best beach club atmosphere anywhere. I'm from Miami so this beats any of the beach clubs there. Sexy models, great musicians, beautiful drinks, and delicious food. It's a very expensive cover charge but worth it. I lost a comp card that one of the girls gave me for buying a bottle at one of the other Rosa Negra group's restaurants. You did get credit towards the spend so it evens out. They have pools, hot tubs, a dj that's shared with Taboo, and the best side of the beach in tulum. Highly recommend coming here early if you have no rsvp to pick the best table. If you're looking to dance, pop bottles, meet new people, and eat delicious food come to Tantra highly recommend

Beach club. It’s was kind of pricey for not being crowded but hey, it was the touristy part of Tulum. The food was pretty decent. We ordered a bottle of Tequila which was good enough for the three of us. It’s very close to the actual beach line and we were able to get in the water and enjoy. They had a DJ there also and played a mix of music. It was mostly like 2000’s pop hits but every now and then we heard some of City Girls. Make sure you come with a group of friends.

I was there with a group of nine people. We all ate lunch and drank a couple of delicious cocktails. We had a great time at this pricey but rather empty beach club up until the point where we wanted the check. We quickly realized that there was a mistake as some drinks were cheaper in the menu than on the check. It took us a 45 minute discussion and a good talk to the manager to get the situation fixed. Clearly they’re trying to rip us off. Not to be recommended!

Amazing atmosphere. Delicious food and great service. My husband and I went there for dinner. Music was loud but we didn’t mind! Margaritas are not strong like in NY so is better to order a tequila shot by itself. My salad was good only thing is was too much dressing on it. Everything else was great
