We love the restaurant - great Mexican food, all their dishes are good. Nice staff and nice serene view.

Amazing sights! Quite difficult to reach do not turn maps off. The belldog staff is quite the surprise: Bruno, Ramiro and Alberto quite the canine reception!

The hotel really has plus and minus to it. Plus is the quiet location, nature, and view. Room service was very good and room clean. The down site is that the structures are built cheap and if you happen to have a family with kids on top of you there will be much noise. We had a hard time sleeping that weekend and management dodn't do anything about it. Breakfast at 9 is too late to be useful. Overall next time we will look dor another hotel, maybe the one at the lake.

Vary good place to visit with family love this place

We were very disappointed with this hotel. The amenities offered in the pictures such as golf and archery are false and misleading as they play the "covid" card as though the so called virus targets golfers playing outside and bow n arrows, over indoor pool tables and the restaurant. Give me a break, it's just an excuse to not offer premium quality that you are paying for. The views are good, it's quiet at night time and the rooms have fireplaces which are a bonus but we found the main lobby or club house unenjoyable due to the the blaring loud Mexican music. The service people were beyond rude and lousy, as we came in the morning at 8 am to grab coffee and enjoy the views. The waiters said rudely "NO" to our request for coffee in the morning. I also would advise any english speakers to beware because although the name of the resort is english nearly anyone can speak it there, and when you drive there using google maps it takes you this back roads way that ends up with a large gate that closes at dark and leaves you stranded. The road is 17 minutes from town and on dirt and rocky roads that will certainly give you a headache if you drive normal speeds on them, so honestly, not a great location. This wasn't a good choice and we regret choosing it over other beautiful Cabanas and hotels in the area which we've found are the same price and much higher value of service and amenities.

The rooms are clean, but they are no senior friendly! I was traveling with my parents and at check in they never mentioned the rooms have these very steep steps with no handrail to get there... even if they saw my dad with a cane when we checked in. The room itself had steps as well... we don't expect for every room to be super accessible for everyone but at least let us know? We would have been okay with paying extra to get a room where I didn't have to worry so much about my parents falling down the f stairs.

One of the most beautiful mountain getaways in Mexico! You can got to the hotel, to stay or rent a house depending on the size of your party. The bar is a great place to relax and play pool. The views are amazing and the food that Chef Jack brings to life is amazing!
