★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy hermoso pueblo en la montaña, la realidad es muy pequeño, pero muy hermoso, resulta muy agradable recorrerlo, hay restaurantes con vista al río, tiene un pequeño muelle desde donde se ve el encuentro de los ríos Oxolotan y Amatan. Con suerte llegas a ver pericos y otras aves en los árboles del pueblo, venden además hermosas artesanías de mimbre.
Con un día tienes para visitarlo, no obstante el mismo pueblo sirve como punto pivote para visitar los atractivos aledaños como las cascadas de VillaLuz y diversas grutas.
Very beautiful town in the mountains, the reality is very small, but very beautiful, it is very pleasant to go through it, there are restaurants overlooking the river, it has a small pier from where you can see the meeting of the Oxolotan and Amatan rivers. With luck you get to see parrots and other birds in the trees of the town, they also sell beautiful wicker crafts.
You have one day to visit it, however the town itself serves as a pivot point to visit the surrounding attractions such as the VillaLuz waterfalls and various caves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un pueblo muy hermoso que puedes recorrer caminando ya que es una sola calle con andadores muy pintorescos. La primera parada es el parque, donde se ponen puestos de artesanos, después subir las escaleras hasta la iglesia donde se puede apreciar una vista muy bella del pueblo y por último ir a comer o dar un paseo en lancha para ir hacia Villa Luz.
It is a very beautiful town that you can walk around since it is a single street with very picturesque walkways. The first stop is the park, where craft stalls are set up, then climb the stairs to the church where you can appreciate a very beautiful view of the town and finally go to eat or take a boat ride to go to Villa Luz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous sulfuric falls at Kolem ha. Mud rinse pools are empty now however, with some locals saying that was their favorite part. Cost to enter is 30 pesos pp. Entrance to the cave is blocked by barbed wire, with locals guarding the opening asking people for $. Supposedly a dispute with the land owners. Say they might come by next week to remove the wire.
