★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place only serves very few things but they do it right. It's a hidden gem for sure because it gets lost with the mercado stalls outside. Just look for the group of people waiting for their tacos. Keep in mind that the rib (costilla) tacos are actually 2 per order and they're the best option for flavor. Gaonera is buttery soft but they're not as good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The green salsa was heaven! I ordered the beef taco (but not the bistec one) and it tasted really yummy! Hot tortilla and beef, then adding some lime and the green salsa on top of it. The green salsa isn’t for everyone though as it was quite spicy. The service was quick, friendly and unpretentious. The only downside was only the price.

The location is truly humble and hard to find and it's smaller than a taco truck, but the flavor of the meat, salsas and tortillas will burn a permanent place in your taste buds. Simplicity and quality at it's best in one of Mexico City's most storied taquerías. Can't recommend it enough.
