★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People will not doubt whinge that this place is now popular and you have to wait (blah blah blah) but given lots of eateries in CDMX are half empty then good for the people that run it because they work really bloody hard making sure everyone gets served quickly and that the food is great. For me it was all about the Al Pastor but it is my favourite in the taco family. Good grub and good service. If you don’t like it pay more and go elsewhere and stop moaning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy, family-run, absolutely delicious. Clearly popular among locals. I got there at 8pm and the few tables filled up as I sat, but service is quick. Salsas are amazing and red chili packs serious hear. Agreeing with other reviews - order first thing on menu or ask.

1. Bad tacos, dry chicken, overcooked beef. Tasteless cheese..
2. They over charge you on PURPOSE! See reviews!
3. Chef touches raw beef and touches tortilla after, gross.
4. Inside is gross, slippery floor.

The hot sauce and meat options are good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent tacos + great flan but I was definitely sketched out by recent reviews. Really not worth the risk, service was meh and the mushrooms are from a can. Too many other places have great tacos.
Oh and indeed, the math on our bill was off. Not a lot but enough to confirm that they intentionally rip off tourists on the regular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty underwhelming place as other reviewers have mentioned. I am from the US with Mexican heritage so although I speak fluent Spanish I don’t appear it. Very rude service that definitely takes advantage of any tourist/foreign appearing people.
The person at the front was taking my order after ignoring me for a bit and took it incorrectly, meanwhile the cook behind him was preparing the order based off what he heard— no receipt in hand. When I corrected the waiter the cook began to mumble insults in Spanish about me. I shouldn’t have eaten after that but wanted to try the food. It itself was not great either and terribly mediocre. There is no excuse for eating a mediocre, overpriced, taco in one of the best cities in the world for tacos. Add rude, disorganized, service to that and you get a 1 star review.

A unique and tasty pastor is their specialty, and my wife loved the arracherra torta or tacos are also a strong choice! Add in cool staff, cold cerveza, and an excellent people watching spot and it’s an afternoon well spent!
