E	Ed Hopkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant across from the park. They have a barbecue grill out front and turn out excellent ribs, baked potatoes, burritos, etc. Everything is fresh and tasty, the owners Victor and Maria are very friendly and fun. Extremely reasonable prices.

We ordered the tacos which were called "beef" but were some mystery meat and not sure if was really meat or some horrible fake meat. The ribs were not any better, tasted like it was three days old. The baked potato we at least expected to be able to eat, afterall how do you mess up a baked potato? Our hopes were destroyed , alias, it was swimming in some oil inside and was greasey and tastless. We almost felt guilty feeding to the poor dogs but they at least ate it. If you are going to sell BBQ with a Texas flag at least make it half way decent.

We got the brisket on baked potato and bbq sandwich with skirt meat. The food has a Texan taste and you won’t miss home. Keep in mind Chelem is a very small town, do not expect a fancy place yet, very welcoming.

We were coming here for vacation but got stuck in the airports for three days bc of staffing issues (pandemic) when we finally arrived our host told us to call this place for dinner! WE WERE THRILLED!!!! The food was great! We loved the way they put the butter down in the baked potato! The ribs were delicious. The guacamole was delicious! And they brought it to the house in about 35 minutes. We were thrilled!
