★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming here for over 20 years. It's my favorite place in Nuevo Progreso. It's cheap and so delicious. I recommend tacos with flour tortillas but even the burgers are great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have the best"taco especial" is a big fresh made flour tortilla with shredded meat, shredded cabbage, avocado,cream, and of course, some hot green sauce or jalapeños on the side. I have enjoyed those tacos since back from the mid 80's

I went in and ordered 2 tacos expecting something like the tiny street tacos you get in Houston, but no, they gave me two enormous tacos that were much closer in mass to something from Freebird's just not as dense. Really tasty. Very nice people inside.
