★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading all the reviews, I decided to go to Black Flag to get a tattoo in CDMX.
This place is a little hard to find. There is no sign out front. We just tracked down the address and walked in. It's very near El Pescadito, the popular fish taco place. The tattoo shop is clean and modern. I never felt uncomfortable at all.
I had previously found a cool drawing I liked and brought it with me. Sergio was at the front desk, and he speaks perfect English. I showed him the drawing and he passed it on to Fernando, one of the artists. Fernando drew up his own version of my drawing, and it was really good! I was very happy with it. We went ahead and did the tattoo that afternoon and it came out amazing.
I should note that most of the people there other than Sergio don't speak English. Wasn't a problem for me.
Fernando is truly an artist, I would highly recommend him and Black Flag tattoo to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They got me in for a last minute tattoo. I messaged them on Friday night and they reached out the next morning to schedule an appointment for Saturday night. My tattoo looks great and cost half as much as I would have paid in the states. Would definitely go back for another.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing tattoo! They were very professional, the manager speaks English! which was a major reason we went here. I contacted them through their Facebook page on a private message. The response was very quick. We discussed what my wife and i wanted and I sent him pictures and he quoted me a price (Which was very reasonable) in less than an hour. The location is extremely clean, professional and the staff were amazing. I cant recommend them enough and I know we will be back next year for our next Tattoo!!!
