Drivers are nice and friendly, but they should definitely have more taxis available.

Good service. No all cars are clean, but their are not bad. Some drivers need an update. Some do not use GPS.

DO NOT USE - On June 1, 2021, a friend and I were defrauded by a driver named Angel. We met him in the hallway and asked how much a taxi to Nápoles (from TAPO) would cost. He replied that the price would be according to the taximeter and we agreed to use his service. His taxi is a pink and white city taxi and was parked at the TAPO taxi stand. The initial price when we got in was around 32 pesos; however, Angel’s taximeter was rigged. By the time we arrived to Nápoles, the fare had risen to over 600 pesos. (For comparison, a one-way trip to Puebla costs just over 200 pesos per person; with Uber we never paid more than 250 pesos for a ride.) To add insult to injury, Angel attempted to double the price, citing a nonexistent policy that the fare was per person and brandishing a bogus fare card around his neck with a 1,900 peso fare. I offered Angel 700 pesos to cover the fare on his taximeter and a tip and refused to offer a peso more. Angel eventually backed down and accepted the 700 pesos; however, my friend and I learned our lesson. Never hire a taxi from here, local drivers such as Angel are unscrupulous, filthy individuals who will attempt to rob you with a smile on their face.

I have traveled in these Taxi a couple of times, not because of the price or such but because they are supposed to be monitored and trusted by TAPO. One thing I highly dislike is that none of the drivers I have been with have a GPS. I have asked some drivers to use GPS and only one out of all the taxis I have been with have used their Map to get from point A to point B. If there is no Taxis ready to leave just know that you won't have a place to sit and wait during the long lasting line. When a Taxi arrives he/she is supposed to hand their I.D Card to the check in person to verify they work with them and also to be paid. If they don't do this they are supposed to not let them take any passenger, this is why they have a check in scanner with the drivers. Hope you enjoy your trip and stay around Mexico City.
