★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es una pieza de arte y arquitectura neo clásica que tardó 6 años en ser terminada (1957 - 1963). Después de haber sido sede del H. Congreso del estado, fue convertida en centro cultural y escenario teatral que apartir de entonces adquirió el nombre de Teatro Hidalgo Bartolomé de Medina, en honor del Padre de la Patria Miguel Hidalgo y un minero sevillano que en su paso por esa región creó un eficiente sistema de extracción de plata. (Hidalgo posee muchas minas, convirtiéndolo en un gran exportador de minerales al mundo). Al ser un centro cultural alberga diferentes tipos de eventos que van desde presentaciones musicales, teatrales y conferencias hasta eventos políticos o pantalla para proyección (durante eventos en Plaza Juárez, lugar donde se ubica el Teatro, se proyectan videos o incluso se transmite en vivo utilizando la fachada para proyectar en ella). También sirve como oficinas de gobierno para la Secretaría de Cultura. Tiene baños limpios pero solo hay 6 lugares para estacionarse cruzando la calle y se paga parquímetro.
It is a piece of neo-classical art and architecture that took 6 years to complete (1957 - 1963). After having been the seat of the H. State Congress, it was turned into a cultural center and theatrical stage that from then on acquired the name of Hidalgo Theater Bartolomé de Medina, in honor of the Father of the Homeland Miguel Hidalgo and a Sevillian miner who in his step by that region created an efficient silver extraction system. (Hidalgo has many mines, making it a major exporter of minerals to the world). As a cultural center, it hosts different types of events ranging from musical, theatrical and conference presentations to political events or screening screen (during events in Plaza Juárez, where the Theater is located, videos are projected or even transmitted live using the facade to project on it). It also serves as government offices for the Ministry of Culture. It has clean bathrooms but there are only 6 places to park across the street and a parking meter is paid.

Hermoso teatro ubicado en Plaza Juárez, Pachuca de Soto este teatro sin duda es uno de los más emblemáticos de Pachuca, ya que su historia e construcción son inmemorables, su origen hasta la fecha ha impactado a todos quienes lo visitan, ideal para ir a pasar un buen rato con tus seres querido e incluso tu sólito.
Si vie es a Pachuca no olvides visitar este majestuoso Teatro :)

Beautiful theater located in Plaza Juárez, Pachuca de Soto this theater is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic of Pachuca, since its history and construction are immemorial, its origin to date has impacted all who visit it, ideal to go to spend a good time with your loved ones and even you alone.
