★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful but closed when I walked by several times in October 2021. The main door step is a great place to eat a funtastic 40p burger (contains hotdog, ham, pineapple, cheese and you can top with more sauces, I recommend the guacachile) from the cart parked here in the evening though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful site. We peeked into the only open door. No access to the theatre until the guided tours at noon. We are hanging out at the cafe that is attached....back from tour--fantastic. For an hour, you will see the main theatre and vantage points from each floor. You will see the 3 salons and on the top floor, roof to views of the city. Our tour was in Spanish but with assistance from fellow tourists, we were able to learn a bit more. Arrive promptly at noon.
