TecnoHotel Beach - 97404 Merida

This place is amazing, they have great staff and great food. Everything seemed inexpensive compared to USA places. There is a beach and pools to enjoy as well. Highly recommend staying here...

Got our plate of food and saw some movement, stayed digging through and found 3 dead bugs..... terrible!!!!

For a 3 star hotel it was good, it is in front of the beach and during the summer the sea is great. Obviously there are some things that they can improve, first of all, at our arriving we had to wait 30 min because there was No one at the reception. The rooms are big enough, they have a little kitchen, refrigerator and microwave oven, that is good. One thing to improve is the showers, even that the weather is very hot in this area sometimes at night you would like to take a shower with hot water, they don't have hot water and the water does not go out very good. They have 2 pools that are OK they just need some maintenance, one of them was not very clean and the other had some "holes" in the bottom, seems that the floor inside need to be repaired. I put this comments as constructive feedback, so the owner or manager can take a look at this. In the case of the restaurant they have fare prices but we order a Shrimp Ceviche and it was OK, but shrimps looked a bit not cooked. We also ordered a Breaded fish and it was not bad, but it was not the best. We ordered a guacamole and it was good! Even this comments, I have to admit that we had a great time during our stay.

Where do I start, from beginning to end I had had the best time hands down. The food was was to die for and our drinks kept coming. I will definitely be back for sure.

It was a good experience, the hotel is nice, the beach club has a beautiful access (although it could improve the comfort of the seats and beach loungers… those we’re very uncomfortable) the food was really good ? totally recommend that and the waiters were nice.

This was our 3rd visit there. It is a nice facility with 2 swimming pools, clean bathrooms, showers, nice beach area, lounge chairs, bar, restaurant and more. We enjoy that it is a private place away from town, it doesn't get too crowded, and the all-inclusive package includes drinks and food. It also includes the ride all the way back to the port, not to the town, so no worries about missing your ship. The food was a lot better this time than in previous visits. Yes, we'll go back again!
