Really nice shop! Handmaid tshirts hats different postal card or decorations luchador mask stickers... Nice welcoming with a lady that also speaks English with a nice smile! It s not cheap if you compare with different souvenir shop but the quality is way better and you will have something unique

I really liked their T-shirts. There are this beautiful knitted ones that are unique pieces. Besides, the attention of the staff makes you feel at home. And they don’t give you plastic bag!

Tejon Rojo isn't your typical artisan handicrafts store. It is pop-culture and humor influenced featuring young, Merida artists. You could even see some of the creations being actively made on the back table. I bought large hand-painted postcards from the artist who happened to be working that day--I believe her name is Delores. They made me laugh out loud and had that touch of whack, cheeky humor I love. I have framed these nudes ("Draw me like your Mexican Girls") in my bathroom. I will have to post a photo later. There are handmade t-shirts, bags, hats, magnets, button etc, etc. Don't go here expecting traditional handicrafts--there are other great stores for that, but Tejon Rojo is more edgy and modern.
