Long line ups (not uncommon here). No English spoken while I was there and needed a translator. After waiting and then ordering their service, found out two days later there was no way to get service to our condo when installer arrived. Great speed getting installer here... Wish they could have installed.

Bad service. My internet, cable and phone service has been out for 2 weeks. Telmex has done absolutely NOTHING. I work from home and the internet is vital to my business. I would NOT recommend Telmex. The service is horrible!

As an ISP for service in the Centro, there are better choices than TELMEX - the highest speed plan available in and around the historic center is 20 mbps and even that drops to 500 kbps on occasion. I dropped TELMEX and got a 100 mbps plan from a competitor for $250/mo more - 5x the speed for 40% more cost. My last 4 km drive to the TELMEX consolidated office on Ejercito Mex was met with a 20-minute line outside waiting for the one agent on duty. She spoke no English but was patient coping with my modest Spanish and was helpful in accomplishing the purpose of my visit. (FYI: Customer service is not available in English.)

I ordered internet to be added to my phone line. Infinitum installers came out and turned off the phone line. I went to the office on insurgentes to find out what was going on. The wait time was about an hour, only 1 person to serve you and a long line outside. The service agent didn't speak english but called over a manager who did. I explained the problem and he told me someone would be out that week to install fiber optic cable. I explained that I had tried that 2 years ago and found there were no fiber optic lines available in my building. He assured me there were and told me a fiber optic modem would arrive in a few days by delivery truck. One week later, no modem, no installer. I had our manager call the 800 number and she was told we would get service within 24-48 hours. Nada. I went back to the office (another hour wait) and complained noting was happening. They called the troubleshooting department and told me an installer would be out the next day. Nada. This company makes comcast in the US look good, that's how bad they are.
