★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hermosa experiencia, Layo súper buen anfitrión de esta ceremonia de temazcal, vale mucho la pena, el té medicinal con el que se baña a las piedras delicioso, el té de hidratacion del final más rico, muy linda experiencia y vale la pena hacerlo con Layo, hice dos temazcales y sin duda este fue mágico y mejor. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great Temazcal experience in San Jose, set on the edge of the mountain so one of the few places that have a lovely view when you come out of the Temazcal. The guide was great and explained the whole process, he only spoke spanish but spoke so slowly and so clearly that we understood everything he was saying. We paid $800 pesos for the two of us which got us a private session. There was an option of $300 pesos per person for a shared experience but we opted for the extra $100 each to have it to ourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting experience. The proprietor take you through the ritual process (in Spanish). It's 1 hour in a mid hut with hot ricks and water that has herbs and plants in it. It's extremely hot but very refreshing. Camomile and honey tea after was delicious. 300 pesos pp for the experience. Well worth it.
